What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking to appoint an outstanding and inspirational class teacher to work in our Autism Centre.
The successful candidate will:
- Have an excellent knowledge of autism and a deep understanding of statutory SEND paperwork.
- Be a positive team member who can lead the work of support staff in the Autism Centre and liaise effectively with mainstream colleagues.
- Maintain effective communication between school and families.
- Beinspirational, dedicated and committed to creating a stimulating learning environment.
- Beaneffectiveclassroom teacher with high expectations of pupils, attainment, progress and behaviour.
- Have a sound understanding of how to develop communication development with children.
