What skills and experience we're looking for

We are seeking an enthusiastic, creative and resilient Teacher of Art to join our dedicated team on a 0.6 FTE (three days per week) basis. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate practitioner to deliver Art across both the primary and secondary phases, inspiring pupils through engaging and meaningful creative experiences that support both academic success and personal development.

The successful candidate will teach Art across Key Stages 2, 3 and 4 and will lead the delivery of accredited pathways, including BTEC Art and Design. We are looking for someone who can nurture creativity, build confidence and self-expression, and provide pupils with opportunities to develop practical skills and artistic techniques. The ability to create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment that engages pupils with SEMH and ASD needs is essential.

Experience of working with pupils with additional needs would be advantageous, but applications are welcomed from excellent teachers who are committed to inclusive education and passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people. We are particularly interested in candidates who can bring fresh ideas, develop enriching opportunities and showcase the creative achievements of our pupils both within school and the wider community.
