What skills and experience we're looking for

Stanwix School is seeking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Class Teacher to join our friendly and inclusive school community. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in our academy as we continue to strengthen practice, embed excellence, and strive to be the very best we can be.

This is a full-time, two-year temporary contract, teaching in Key Stage 2. We welcome applications from both early career teachers and experienced practitioners who are committed to high-quality teaching and eager to make a meaningful impact on children’s lives.

What We Are Looking For

We are seeking a teacher who can:

•Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that meet the needs of all learners

•Build strong, positive relationships with pupils

•Develop and maintain professional relationships with staff and parents

•Create a positive, inclusive classroom culture with high expectations for behaviour and achievement

•Adapt teaching to challenge more able pupils and support those with SEND, EAL, or in receipt of Pupil Premium

•Work collaboratively with colleagues to contribute to curriculum development and wider school life

•Support pupils’ wellbeing and personal development in line with school values

•Engage in reflective practice and ongoing professional development
