Teacher KS1 and Maths Lead job summary
The governors are looking to appoint an enthusiastic teacher to lead our KS1 phase and maths across the school. To start as soon as possible or April 2022.
The successful candidate will:
• Be able to evidence his/her own outstanding teaching practice in Key Stage 1
• Have responsibility for promoting high standards of teaching and learning in Maths across the school.
• A passion for learning
• Have effective interpersonal skills and an ability to inspire, lead and motivate children and staff.
• Have good experience of leading and managing staff in the Primary Phase.
• An honest commitment to your own professional development
• Have excellent organizational skills

Etruscan is a larger than average primary school with 443 pupils currently on roll. We are two form entry to Year 6 with a 45 place Nursery class,
In September 2015 the school became part of a hard federation with Etruscan Primary School and St. Mark’s CE Primary School, with the same Executive Head Teacher. Each of the Primary Schools has a Head of School. In June 2020 Etruscan Primary and St. Mark’s CE Primary academised as founder members of the Orchard Community Trust. Etruscan was judged to be ‘Good’ at the most recent inspection in May 2017. Etruscan Primary is also part of a network of seven schools called “7 Stars”.
