Teacher (KS1) job summary
Mount Street Academy is a large infant and nursery school in the heart of Lincoln City, delivering high-quality early years education for children from three to seven years old. Our vision is to ‘create a haven in which children flourish’, which means everything we do is designed to give children the very best possible education, in the widest sense of the word.
About this Role
We are looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic and talented KS1 teacher. We have an experienced teaching staff and a strong commitment to continued professional development with a proven track record of supporting staff.
This is a fulltime permanent position in Year 2 in the first instance, but there is an expectation you will be able, and willing, to teach in any KS1 year group (Reception, Year 1 and Year 2)

We are seeking an experienced teacher who:
- has a positive, optimistic outlook
- a desire to work at a school where learning and continual professional development is the norm through a coaching and collaborative approach

- a passion and understanding of young children
- a good understanding of what makes effective teaching and learning
- great communication skills with the ability to build trust and confidence with parents and colleagues

- the ability to be reflective, proactive, flexible and creative
- has high expectations of all pupils and enables every child to make good progress
