Salary MPS 1 – MPS 6 (£23,720 - £35,008) per annum

Maternity Cover (Full time, term time only)
Based at Our Lady of Good Counsel, Sleaford

This is an exciting opportunity to join a newly formed Catholic Multi Academy Trust. St Thérèse of Lisieux CMAT is one of four newly created Catholic Multi Academy Trusts (CMAT’s) in the Diocese of Nottingham, which provides consistent, proactive and high quality support and services to all our head teachers, senior leaders and trustees.

Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Primary school is a small school located in the town of Sleaford. With 164 children on roll, we promote and cherish our ‘family’ character so can confidently state our school is a happy and caring place to be. With the news of an imminent new arrival to our school family, we are keen to find a special teacher (with appropriate skills, knowledge, talent and ambition) to join our friendly team, in this maternity cover post. Every teacher in the school takes up some level of leadership responsibility, making this an excellent professional development opportunity for those early into their career or more experienced practitioners too.

Essential educational requirements

Evidence of CPD and/or school practice
Knowledge and understanding of the theory and practice of National Curriculum 
Understanding of the requirements of pupils with SEN and EAL

Essential qualifications

Qualified to Degree level 
Qualified Teacher Status 
Experience of teaching in primary education 

Essential skills and experience

High expectations of pupils achievement and behaviour 
Evidence of involvement in curriculum development 
Evidence of experience of subject leadership 
Secure understanding of safeguarding principles and practice
