Mount Street Academy is a large infant and nursery school in the heart of Lincoln City, delivering high-quality early years education for children from three to seven years old. About this Role

We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and talented KS1 teacher. We have an experienced teaching staff and a strong commitment to continued professional development with a proven track record of supporting staff.

This is a full time permanent position in Year 2 in the first instance but there is an expectation you will be able and willing to teach in any year group (Reception, Year 1 and Year 2)

We are seeking an experienced teacher who:

has a positive, optimistic outlook

a desire to work at a school where learning and continual professional development is the norm through a coaching and collaborative approach

the same vision and values for all children

a passion and understanding of young children

a good understanding of what makes effective teaching and learning

great communication skills with the ability to build trust and confidence with parents and colleagues

strong time management and personal management skills

the ability to be reflective, proactive, flexible and creative

has high expectations of all pupils and enables every child to make good progress
