Teachers Main Pay Range M1 to M3: Temporary for One Year

Underwood West Academy, part of the Aspire Educational Trust, are looking for an ambitious and inspirational full time Teacher/ECT to teach in Year 1 from September 2024 until the end of the academic year.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an outstanding teacher to join our unique school. Underwood West Academy is a Good with Outstanding primary school for children aged 2-11 years, currently with 481 pupils and 65 staff.

We expect our children to be kind, hard-working, respectful and welcoming with wonderfully enquiring minds. We inspire our children to strive for exciting futures. We do this through our holistic creative curriculum. Being part of Aspire, there is effective collaboration and partnership within the Trust and a strong commitment to continuing professional development.

To be successful you will be an outstanding Teacher with a ‘can do approach’, who is passionate about developing, delivering and articulating the vision, values and ethos of the academy. As an innovator you will develop creative approaches to continue to drive the high quality of teaching, learning and assessment, and ensure that our children enjoy their education whilst reaching their full potential.

In particular, we are keen to hear from ECTs and those with experience.
