What skills and experience we're looking for

Mathematics and Further Mathematics. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and inspiring students in Key Stage 5 to achieve highly in Mathematics and Further Mathematics. This opportunity is open to Early Career Teachers and to more experienced colleagues.

Potential applicants should be:

either

a trainee teacher who is successfully completing placement(s) teaching in KS3, 4 or 5 (applicants currently in training)

or

a colleague with a successful record of teaching with strong examination results at one or more of KS3, 4 or 5 (applicants who have already gained Qualified Teacher Status).

Applicants should have:

A strong honours degree in Mathematics, or in a subject containing a considerable amount of Pure Mathematics.

Passionate commitment to the power of education to ‘change the deal’ for disadvantaged students.

A detailed knowledge of current developments in education, including the effective use of the Pupil Premium and/or the 16-19 Bursary Award.
