Working with Leigh Academies Trust: As of September 2019, our Trust is comprised of 25 geographically organised academies (11 secondaries, 13 primaries and 1 special) educating over 15,000 students, and employing over 2,500 talented staff. We also have three further academies in development phase, due to open between September 2020-2021. The Trust is establishing four ‘clusters’ of academies: North West Kent; Central Kent; South East London; Medway. Teacher of Art and Media job summary

Longfield Academy has a great opportunity for a Teacher of Art and Media to join our highly experienced and successful department on a permanent, part time basis (3 days per week). The role will commence as soon as possible and this is an ideal time to join an incredibly strong department both in terms of the teaching and support from Technicians, giving you great access to a range of resources. Our successful applicant will be able to teach all Art and Media specialisms across Key Stages 3, 4, 5, ideally with an ability to teach Photography as a bonus. Subject knowledge and previous teaching experience in all three subjects is highly advantageous. Our successful candidate will have access to a fantastic range of professional development opportunities both at the academy and also across the wider Trust.
