TEACHER OF ART AND PHOTOGRAPHY Required for September 2021 We are looking for a committed and enthusiastic Art and Photography teacher to join our thriving Art Department. The Art Department is well resourced with four Art classrooms and two Photography darkrooms; as well as a kiln, suite of Mac computers and a Photography studio. Our department results at KS4 and KS5 are consistently above the National average. Candidates will be able to deliver Art at Key Stage 3, 4 and 5 and Photography at Key Stage 5, and be able to demonstrate a sound working knowledge of darkroom photography as well as digital photography. This post offers an exciting opportunity for an imaginative, creative and inspiring teacher to work in a supportive and energetic team. You will have a passion for Art and excellent subject knowledge, be an outstanding teacher who is keen to develop their practice and brings creativity and vision to this post to ensure the continued success of our students. Applications from NQT’s are welcome and we provide a very supportive induction programme. Our standard loading factor is 22/26. Where timetables comprise fewer than 22 teaching periods you will be required to cover other classes.
