Teacher of Art and Textiles (Maternity Cover) job summary

Beaconsfield High School, an outstanding girls’ grammar school, has an exciting opportunity for an energetic, highly motivated Teacher of Art and Textiles (maternity cover, part-time 0.8FTE) with vision and ambition to inspire and enthuse students to enhance their interest in the subject. Our students all want to learn and are rapid learners – a dream come true!

We seek an outstanding candidate to maintain and build upon this record of success. The post requires teaching across the Key Stages, inspiring and helping our students to enjoy the subject as much as possible. The Creative Arts Faculty is a strong team with a very good track record of examination success.

We are open to ideas that inspire and help our students to enjoy the subject as much as possible. We want to recruit someone who puts students first, proactively focuses on the development, sharing and monitoring of best practice to help across the school so that our students have the best educational opportunities and positive school experience. This is in line with our vision of being a “Happy, high achieving learning community”.
