Teacher of Art (Maternity Cover) job summary
We are seeking to appoint a committed, motivated and enthusiastic Teacher of Art (Maternity Cover) to join our team from 2nd November 2026 for two terms.
What You'll Do
As part of our Creative Arts Department, you will:
- Teach engaging and high-quality Art lessons at Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Inspire students to develop their creativity, confidence and artistic skills.
- Plan, deliver and assess learning to ensure all students make excellent progress.
- Maintain high expectations for achievement, behaviour and presentation.
- Monitor and report on student progress and attainment.
- Contribute to curriculum development and enrichment opportunities.
- Support the wider life of the school through events such as parents' evenings and open evenings.

Desirable Experience
- Experience of teaching Textiles would be beneficial but is not essential.
