Teacher of Art & Photography / Design and Technology (Fixed-Term Contract) job summary

You will teach Art & Photography/ Design & Technology to students aged 11 to 18 at Woodcote High School. You will join a dedicated team of Art & Photography, and/or Design & Technology teachers, who plan units together, share resources and look at students' work side by side. That means less time building lessons on your own, and more time on the teaching itself.

Our students come from a wide range of backgrounds. Some arrive with gaps in their learning. Some need a lot of encouragement before they believe they can do well. We want every one of them to leave with a result in Art & Photography/ Design & Technology they are proud of, and you will play a direct part in that.

This role would suit an experienced teacher or someone early in their career. What matters most is that you know your subject well, care about how students learn and want to keep getting better at teaching it.

If you would like to visit or talk about the role before you apply, contact us and we would be happy to meet you.
