Teacher of Art job summary

We are looking to appoint an ambitious Teacher of Art for the above position from September 2025. The candidate should be an excellent classroom practitioner and keen to make a difference to children. This is an exciting time to join the school as we build on recent success and continue our drive to raise standards. This would be an ideal opportunity for a newly qualified teacher or an experienced teacher who is looking for a change.

The successful candidate will teach to at least GCSE and will be:

Committed to learning and the raising of standards

St John Fisher is an 11-18 comprehensive school with a rich Catholic ethos. There are 800 students on roll including the Sixth Form. The school has excellent facilities and well-equipped rooms. The school was judged Good by Ofsted in October 2013, November 2017 and June 2023. It was also judged Outstanding by the Diocese in December 2013, 2018 and again in March 2022. Visits to the school are welcome.
