Permanent, Full Time position.
Are You a passionate, creative and dynamic teacher of music?
We are an exceptionally friendly and supportive staff group and we are looking to appoint an enthusiastic Music Teacher to share his/her passion for the subject, this post would suit an experienced or newly qualified teacher.
• We are looking for candidates who:
• Can provide outstanding quality learning and teaching in the Music department, modelling excellence in the classroom.
• Have the vision and energy required to impact on the continuous process of raising attainment in the Music department.
• Have a belief in the value and talents of all students.
• Have a thorough knowledge and understanding of ICT, with proven record of using ICT to enhance teaching and learning in the classroom.
• Are committed to all learners whatever their background.
• Can make a positive contribution to the Performing Arts department and its students.
For a suitably qualified candidate there may be opportunities for additional responsibilities.

The Eastbourne Academy Ofsted report (January 2017) confirmed once again that we are a Good School. The Lead Inspector commented: “Pupils are immensely proud of their school and are keen to learn.” We have regularly won awards for national achievement and our rebuilding programme was completed in 2013-14.
