What skills and experience we're looking for
- Set high expectations which inspire, motivate and challenge all scholars
- Promote good progress and outcomes by all scholars
- Demonstrate good subject and curriculum knowledge
- Plan lessons (in line with minimum expectations) and teach well-structured lessons
- Adapt teaching to respond to the strengths and needs of all scholars
- Make accurate and productive use of assessment
- Manage behaviour effectively to ensure a good and safe learning environment
- Fulfil wider professional responsibilities
- Qualified teacher status
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Physical Education or a very closely related subject area
- Successful PE teaching or teaching practice experience
- Ability to teach PE to GCSE level. A level experience is desirable
