London Design & Engineering University Technical College (LDE UTC) is an oversubscribed technical skills provision that opened in 2016. In January of this year we moved into our brand-new purpose-built state of the art building which enjoys its inspirational dockside location on the Royal Docks. Our specialisms include engineering, civil engineering and computing / digital. Courses include, built environment for our budding architects, systems and control, engineering design and digital which contains virtual reality, augmented reality and computing. LDE UTC has been set up by Thames Water, Costain, Skanska, LEGO, Thames Tideway Tunnel, and our university partner the University East London to provide learners with the opportunity to progress onto University, higher degree apprenticeships or the workplace. Leaners look forward to a business like STEM rich curriculum, with access to the very best educational facilities and industry standard equipment in the world. We are able to offer this exciting curriculum from the age of 13 upwards by delivering GCSE’s, A Levels, technical level 3 courses and apprenticeships from level 2 to 8 (level 5 and above in partnership with our University partner UEL).
