The Role

As a Teacher of Business, you will play a key role in delivering engaging and high-quality lessons across a range of business-related topics. You will inspire students to think critically about the world of commerce, economics, and enterprise, helping them develop the skills and knowledge needed for success in further education and the workplace.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver effective and differentiated lessons in Business Studies.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student engagement and achievement.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the business curriculum and share best practices.
  • Participate in school events, parent-teacher meetings, and ongoing professional development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching certification.
  • Experience teaching Business at the secondary school level.
  • Familiarity with the UK National Curriculum and relevant examination boards.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
