What skills and experience we're looking for

Business and Economics are popular subjects at our Academy, and we are looking for an enthusiastic teacher to help us meet that demand. Our Business, Economics and Computing team is experienced, dynamic and forward-thinking and works collaboratively to deliver meaningful and engaging content. This is brought to life through a wide range of activities including:

« Museum Learning Team – provide ideas and resources to support lesson delivery. For example, the team have provided objects to support the delivery of Economics lessons on poverty and Business lessons on production processes.

« Off-site trips – this year, KS4 students had the opportunity to participate in an enterprise skills workshop run by Levi Roots, the famous entrepreneur.

« Super Curricular Clubs – students in our Sixth Form have participated in the annual Young Enterprise competition, coming a close second in the regional finals with their innovative bag design.
