What skills and experience we're looking for

Required from September 2024. We are seeking an enthusiastic and well qualified teacher of Business Studies, who has a commitment to developing good teaching and learning practices, leading to excellent student progress.

Business Studies is extremely popular in KS4 and in our outstanding Sixth Form. In partnership with the Peter Jones Foundation, the school launched an International Enterprise Academy in September 2021. This position provides an opportunity to contribute to this exciting initiative. This is an exciting time to join an experienced team who have real ambition for these subjects.

The department teaches a wide range of Business courses, including GCSE, A Level and International Baccalaureate Standard level.

This would be an attractive opportunity for a new entrant to the profession, although equally attractive to a more experienced colleague. We have a positive commitment to supporting Newly Qualified teachers and a comprehensive staff development programme.

All members of staff working at the school support the international aims and ethos of the school and participate in the extensive visits programme.
