Teacher of Business Studies job summary
The Directors and Governors of this highly successful Catholic Academy, a member of the Bishop Hogarth Catholic Education Trust, wish to appoint a Teacher of Business Studies.
We are seeking to appoint a well-qualified and enthusiastic teacher who would relish the opportunity to teach in and develop our Business Studies department. For the right candidate there may be the opportunity to take on additional responsibilities and progress to Lead Teacher within the department. We seek to nurture and develop enterprise and innovation in our students and you will share our enthusiasm to develop these qualities through both the curriculum and extracurricular opportunities linked to business. Utilising your skills and expertise and our support we want to see this department grow and develop within our college and for students to be inspired to opt for Business at KS4 and 5.
Carmel College is recognised by Ofsted as Outstanding in all areas and holds a number of nationally recognised awards such as International School Award and World Class School.
Carmel College has an outstanding Initial Teacher Training programme and offers opportunities for further career development through various roles, programmes and educational research.
