Deyes High School is seeking an enthusiastic and talented Teacher of Catering & Hospitality to join our thriving Technology Department from January 2027. This is an exciting opportunity to teach in a vibrant, oversubscribed secondary school that is part of the ambitious Lydiate Learning Trust.

Working in our brand-new, state-of-the-art school building, you will deliver engaging Catering, Hospitality and Food Technology lessons that inspire students to develop practical skills, creativity and a lifelong appreciation of food and nutrition. Our Food Technology facilities feature modern equipment and dedicated specialist teaching spaces designed to enhance learning and achievement.

We are looking for a teacher who:

Holds a recognised UK teaching qualification (QTS/PGCE).

Has excellent subject knowledge and a passion for Catering, Hospitality or Food Technology.

Can inspire and motivate students across a range of ages and abilities.

Is committed to high-quality teaching and learning.

Values collaboration and wishes to contribute to the wider life of the school.
