What skills and experience we're looking for

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated teacher of chemistry to join our Science Department and teach the subject at all levels. This post could suit an ECT as well as a more experienced candidate. You will be working in a very cohesive and supportive department that is committed to providing an innovative and high-quality science education for all of our pupils. We are a strong team that is motivated to achieve positive pupil experiences and outcomes and has a strong history of providing STEM opportunities for students. At GCSE, we teach both AQA Combined Trilogy and AQA Separate Science courses. A specialism in chemistry is desired. The successful candidate will have an affinity with young people and will have a desire to develop the science opportunities available for students. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to attend CPD workshops run locally, regionally and nationally, allowing them to continue to develop their own chemical understanding and to further advance their teaching.
