An exciting opportunity has arisen at Holy Family Catholic Primary School for an experienced and flexible class teacher to join our team in leading a new provision for EYFS and Key Stage One pupils with SEND at our school.

Are you an experienced classroom practitioner who has a good working knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice and effective inclusion within a primary setting?

What the school offers its staff

At Holy Family, we are developing a new SEND base called ‘Butterflies’ for Neurodivergent children with complex needs within a mainstream school. Butterflies will enable provision and specialist targeted support to be delivered to meet the children’s unique and individual needs. In Butterflies, the children will have access to specialist resources and skilled staff and will have an Education, Health, and Care Plan (EHCP) with Autism and/or social communication and interaction difficulties as their primary area of need.

We wish to appoint a teacher with a commitment to Special Educational Needs and Inclusion.

The successful candidate will be:

Passionate about SEND and leading provision for pupils with complex needs using creative and innovative approaches underpinned by effective pedagogy.

Fully committed to inclusion and making a positive difference to the lives of students and staff.

Experienced at creating targets for pupils with SEND.
