Teacher of Computer Science job summary
This post would be suitable for a highly competent teacher with experience and a proven track record of success, or an ECT new to the profession. The Mathematics and Computing faculty is a team of talented, supportive and innovative teachers whose passion and enthusiasm has helped secure a history of successful examination outcomes. The school occupies a modern building with a suite of classrooms built around a faculty office. All classrooms have interactive whiteboards, and the faculty also has four dedicated computer rooms with PCs and is well supported by our IT Technicians. OCR Computer Science and Creative iMedia are offered at Key Stage 4 with very popular uptake numbers; both qualifications are often over-subscribed, and we want to continue to build on this growth. At A Level, OCR Computer Science is offered with classes in Year 12 and 13. The Computing faculty would love to broaden the offering at KS5.
