Teacher of Computer Science and ICT job summary
Stantonbury School is now part of the Tove Learning Trust and is on a rapid journey of improvement. Following a review of our curriculum we have decided to introduce Computing and ICT into Key Stage 3 from September and hope to introduce GCSE Computer Science in the following year. There is scope to establish Computer Science and ICT courses for our post 16 students too. Working with the Head of Computing and ICT this will be an excellent opportunity to be involved in establishing this area of the curriculum within the school.
There is great demand from local employers for people with ICT and Computing skills and amazing opportunities for our students to continue their studies at the newly established Institute of Technology in Bletchley. Milton Keynes is shortly to become the home of Santander's global cyber security centre which will again generate significant demand for people with the right ICT, Computing and technical skills.
We have good links with the National Centre for Computing Education who can provide funded training and access to curriculum resources.

Our organisation is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults. We expect all staff, volunteers and trustees to share this commitment.
