Teacher of Computer Science job summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Teacher of Computer Science to join our team. The successful candidate will inspire students across KS3, KS4 and KS5 and promote a passion for technology, coding, and problem-solving.

Hockerill Anglo-European College is a thriving, diverse and internationally minded IB World School. We are proud of our reputation for academic excellence and our commitment to developing students who are inquisitive, analytical and globally aware. Our curriculum combines the IB Diploma and Middle Years Programmes with GCSEs, offering a broad and rigorous education. From September 2027, the College will broaden its post-16 provision to offer A Levels alongside the IB Diploma, ensuring that all students can access the pathway best suited to their strengths, aspirations and future plans.

This is a full time position and is open to both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers who hold a UK-recognised teaching qualification for ages 11-18. Full induction, training and support are provided, and previous experience of the IB is not required. What matters most is your enthusiasm for Computer Science and your ability to inspire students of all abilities to achieve their best. The College reserves the right to interview and appoint to this post before the given deadline. The ability to teach an additional subject would be advantageous but is not essential. Please indicate within your personal statement if there are other subjects that you are able to offer alongside Computer Science.
