Horsforth School is seeking to appoint a passionate and inspirational Teacher of Computing and IT. We are looking for a teacher who has the ability to inspire, challenge and prepare students for the future in an ever-evolving digital world. The school’s growing and innovative computing and IT department provides our pupils with the skills they need for a technologically driven future. The successful candidate will work closely with the curriculum leader and the current computing and IT team, who have a wealth of experience. Students can study Cambridge Nationals in IT Level 3, GCSE Computer Science, A-Level Computer Science and AAQ in IT at Level 3.

Our aim is to recruit someone who can add to the team’s current strengths, has the ability to deliver quality teaching that drives achievement and inspires a love of computing and IT amongst our students.

In addition, Horsforth School was named one of the top 10 schools in the North in The Sunday Times Power Guide in 2024 and the Yorkshire Post has recently voted the Sixth Form at Horsforth one of the top 3 Sixth Forms in Yorkshire.
