An enthusiastic, dynamic and inspirational Teacher of ICT and Computing is required to join a thriving and highly successful curriculum area which has made a major contribution to the strong examination results achieved throughout the College.
This role represents an incredibly exciting opportunity for any candidate who is eager to be a part of an organisation that seeks to secure the very highest educational standards for pupils, who has high standards, commitment, passion, and the ability to teach KS3, KS4 and KS5 across the full ability range.
The department is dynamic, supportive and successful with a long history of excellent results at KS4 & 5. At KS4/5, we currently teach GCSE Computer Science, BTEC Level 3 National Extended Certificate in Computing, BTEC Level 3 National Extended Certificate in IT and BTEC Level 2 Tech Award in Digital Information Technology.
A flexible practitioner, you will teach across a wide ability range while maintaining high expectations for all learners. Knowledge of Computer Science, programming and Databases are essential, as well as a desire to help every child fulfil their potential.
