Permanent Contract
We are looking for a teacher who will inspire and enthuse our Criminology students and help them develop a genuine interest in the subject. We want teachers who are driven and determined to make a positive difference. We expect teachers to use their pedagogical skills to ensure lessons are enjoyable and engaging whilst supporting our students to achieve the best possible grades, that enable them to progress on to their chosen destination.
You will have the privilege, and challenge, of working in an exclusively A Level Sixth Form College with students that enjoy learning and have a determination to do well in their academic studies.
We look to appoint appropriately qualified teachers who enjoy teaching, thrive in an academic environment and who recognise that success in a Sixth Form College goes beyond academic success within a particular subject. You may have a background in teaching another Social Science or Humanities based subject but have developed a knowledge, interest and passion for Criminology and now wish to teach this at A Level. We would be interested to hear from you
You will be supported by a team of equally committed colleagues who are working collaboratively to create an amazing Sixth Form College for our students. This is an opportunity to join a hugely supportive organisation where we value, support and facilitate your professional development. We benefit from being part of Suffolk Academies Trust and we work closely with our partners for the benefit of every member of our community.
If applicants are interested, there may be the possibility of additional opportunities to contribute to the comprehensive EPQ (Extended Project Qualification) programme that is delivered at the College.
* Please can you clearly state your preferred hours of work on your application.
