Wadham School is friendly, vibrant and forward looking. From September we will be expanding and for the first time in our 50 year history, to admit Years 7 and 8 and become a regular 11-18 Secondary School. As a result we will have a number of new colleagues joining us, across many subject areas.

We are a school striving to have an evidence informed approach to teaching and an ethos and drive for the school to be much more than just learning in lessons. A varied programme of extra-curricular activities and house competitions provides an exciting opportunity for staff to be involved in the wider school community.

At our core is an aim, through everything that we do, to develop a sense of hope which will encourage and support students in becoming the best that they can be. We are a school which supports your progress as a classroom practitioner and there are plentiful opportunities to enhance and build your experiences outside of the classroom too.

As well as excellent support within the team, we actively encourage collaboration and the sharing of good practice; we believe that by developing a love of learning and having the highest expectations, all children and young people can excel.

Wadham School serves a beautiful area of South Somerset with excellent links to the wider South West, Bristol and Bath and direct train links to London from Crewkerne itself and Taunton.

If the above gives you a picture of a community that you would be excited to be part of then the students and staff at Wadham School invite your application and would love to meet you.
