Maternity Cover (MAT cover): Teacher of Design and Technology

Anticipated Start Date: February 2026

Grade: MPS /UPS

Hours: 0.8 FTE

We are looking to appoint a dynamic and driven Teacher of Design and Technology (MAT cover). You will be an exceptional practitioner with high expectations of all students.

You will be joining a talented and committed Design and Technology Department. You will need the skills and experience to teach the full age and ability range across the curriculum. The successful candidate will have experience in delivering GCSE Design Technology.

The successful candidate will be:

  • Able to demonstrate a positive impact on student outcomes in their current role
  • A highly effective classroom practitioner
  • Able to demonstrate a strong understanding of effective curriculum in Design and Technology to Key Stage 4.
  • Committed to professional development and continual improvement
  • Willing to uphold our Christian values of trust, belief, challenge and resilience
