What skills and experience we're looking for
- Up to date knowledge of effective pedagogy
- Ability to teach outstanding lessons to pupils of all ages and abilities.
- A passion for DT and for communication of the subject.
- Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work well with others and delegate as necessary.
- Ability to enthuse and inspire young people.
- Willingness to engage with visits and visitors to enable first-hand experience of DT, in particular Resistant Materials.
- High levels of energy, enthusiasm and resilience, with a willingness to find creative solutions to problems.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- High standards of loyalty and professional integrity.
