We are looking to appoint an inspiring and outstanding classroom practitioner to join our Design and Technology Department here at Myton; we are looking for someone who is ambitious and able to share their enthusiasm and passion for Design and Technology with all their students and colleagues.


We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled 0.6 Teacher of Design & Technology to join our thriving and forward‑looking department. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a growing faculty, with increasing student numbers at KS4 and strong uptake across both academic and vocational pathways.

The department is exceptionally well resourced, benefiting from a full computer suite, an extensive range of specialist equipment including multiple 3D printers, a laser cutter, and a wide variety of workshop machinery that supports innovative and high‑quality teaching and learning.

You will join a collaborative team delivering a broad and ambitious curriculum, including:

  • GCSE Food Preparation & Nutrition
  • GCSE Art Textiles
  • GCSE Design & Technology
  • Level 1/2 Hospitality & Catering
  • A Level Design & Technology
  • A Level Art Textiles

This role would suit a creative, adaptable practitioner with a passion for design, making and technology, and a commitment to inspiring young people. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to shape a growing department and contribute to the continued development of courses across key stages.
