welcome to apply
James Academy is looking to appoint an exceptional Teacher of Design and
Technology to develop, plan and deliver effective and high-quality learning
experiences for all learners.
James Academy has a strong caring ethos ensuring high levels of support for
learners creating an atmosphere of mutual respect throughout the academy. Its
philosophy is to embrace the talents of all its learners to ensure the success
for all through outstanding teaching and positive behaviour.
Teaching and Learning is supported by a central team of Subject Directors who are experienced teachers with leadership and mentoring skills who work across our academies supporting teachers in their personal development, data analysis and curriculum planning. Subject Directors have specific areas of focus such as Mathematics, Science, Reading, Writing and History.
The Values Driven Expectations behaviour model ensures that all learners are well focussed and that there is no low-level disruption in lessons; this allows colleagues to concentrate on leading high-quality teaching to inspire learners. Cutting edge data management processes also mean that key data is provided from the central team, freeing up your time to act on key information to accelerate learners’ progress.
