We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated Teacher of Food & Design Technology to join our successful and growing Design & Technology team. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate teacher to contribute to a thriving department and inspire students to develop practical skills, creativity, and an understanding of food, nutrition, and design.
The successful candidate will:
- Be able to teach Food Preparation and Nutrition up to GCSE level.
- Contribute to the teaching of Design and Technology at Key Stage 3.
- Demonstrate a passion for high-quality teaching and learning.
- Be committed to helping all students achieve their full potential.
- Work effectively as part of a collaborative and supportive team.
The Design & Technology department at Horsforth School is a strong and successful team with a clear commitment to delivering engaging and challenging lessons. We are looking for a teacher who:
- Has excellent subject knowledge and strong classroom practice.

This post would suit an experienced teacher or an Early Career Teacher (ECT) who is passionate about food education and design.
