At Challney, our multidisciplinary Design Technology team includes a range of dedicated subject specialists unified in their goal of providing our students with the highest possible quality of practical, investigational and theoretical education, starting many students off on the path to their future careers.
Our team has a robust tradition of distributing responsibilities and cultivating talent and has a consistent history of promoting from within when it comes to leadership opportunities. We provide a strong culture of support and care for our staff.
The successful candidate will demonstrate real enthusiasm for teaching Design Technology and a willingness to work to make an already established department even stronger with full CPD and ECT support available. Purpose of the post
To facilitate and encourage learning which enables pupils to achieve the highest possible standards: to share and support the corporate responsibility for the well-being, education and discipline of all pupils.
