What skills and experience we're looking for
We are seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking Design and Technology Teacher with a specialism in Product Design and Engineering to join our thriving DT department. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated educator who can bring energy, expertise, and enthusiasm into the workshop and classroom.

- A qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent) with a background in Product Design and Engineering
- Strong knowledge of current industry practices, design thinking, and emerging technologies
- A commitment to high standards of teaching, learning, and student achievement
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to inspire young people to pursue careers in STEM and creative industries

We are a highly successful and increasingly popular oversubscribed 11-18 comprehensive school of around 740 students, situated in the picturesque village location of Kinver on the western fringe of the West Midlands. The school has undergone rapid growth in recent years due to its popularity, moving form a 4-form entry in Year 7 to 6-form entry. The school operates its own designated school coach transport service, which means that our intake spans 5 local authorities and our parents and students choose to come to us, making Kinver the non-selective ‘selective’ school.
