MPR/UPR (Fringe) + TLR 2a (£2,873) for Second in DT role

Teacher of Design & Technology / Second in DT job summary

Are you ambitious to develop your career? If so, this is
an exciting opportunity to put your mark on a thriving and popular subject.

We are looking for a Teacher of DT or Second in DT to join a
team of teachers and technicians who are all passionate about seeing young
people succeed in their subject. The department offers all areas of D&T at
KS3 and GCSEs in 3D Design and Food Preparation & Nutrition alongside
Vocational Hospitality & Catering and Construction. Over the last few years,
the department has seen a significant increase in results and a rise in numbers
opting for KS4.

We are looking for an individual who can add to this already
friendly and supportive team; a teacher who builds excellent relationships with
students and inspires them in their learning. Ideally, you will be able to
teach across all areas of Design & Technology at KS3 and be able to teach
(or be willing to train to teach) Construction at KS4, which is a new course
from September 2022. As Second in Department, you will oversee the KS3
curriculum and assessment, and a TLR will be offered.

If you share our vision based on the unshakeable belief
