What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking to appoint a Teacher of Design and Technology able to teach across the full range of abilities to A Level. Other specialisms will also be considered.

This post will be suitable for an experienced teacher or an ECT as support is available within the department.

The successful candidate will have to meet the requirements of the person specification in order to be offered the post, will be required to undergo a full enhanced DBS check and must be eligible to work in the UK. What the school offers its staff
The Ripley Academy is an 11-18 school located in Derbyshire close to Nottingham, Derby and Sheffield and within easy reach of the Peak District. We are a member of the East Midlands Education Trust and work in close partnership with the other academies within the Trust including The West Bridgford School and John Flamsteed Community School. The school was inspected by Ofsted in February 2025 and was judged to have taken effective action to maintain the "good" standards in all areas from its previous inspection.
