Teacher of DT job summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher of DT from September 2022. This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher who really wants to make a difference to the lives of young people.
The Academy benefits from being part of the Outwood Family of Schools, which affords opportunities for staff to work and progress across several schools if desired. All staff are guaranteed a minimum of two hours CPD per week and a further comprehensive programme of professional development is provided through our own network of teaching schools.

Outwood Academy Freeston became part of the Outwood Grange Academies Trust on 1st May 2018. The Academy is in the heart of Normanton, which is a small town and part of the City of Wakefield.
It is a mixed school for both girls and boys ages 11-16. We are an increasingly popular choice of secondary school for families in the local area.
Outwood Academy Freeston is renowned for the caring ethos that pervades the work of the staff and its students. Visitors always comment on our warm, welcoming and friendly atmosphere.
