Teacher of DT job summary

Outwood Academy Valley is looking to appoint a dynamic, enthusiastic and inspirational teacher to join our Design Technology department from September 2022. The ability to teach engineering and/or resistant materials would be a distinct advantage. The role is Full Time with Part Time considered. This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher who really wants to make a difference to the lives of young people. Our single goal is ‘Students First’ and you will be joining a strong team of professionals working to this sole aim. We are right at the forefront in terms of ensuring students are taught for deep understanding, and in enabling every student to leave school with qualifications that opens doors for them. We have a curriculum that allows for this and the training and support for teachers to feel confident to facilitate this for all.
