Our department is well resourced and led by committed practitioners, who are focussed on continuing the process of raising standards and expectations in our department and beyond into the world of work.
We are pleased to offer a full breath of courses at Key Stage 4 and 5, enabling all students to study both health and social care, child development and early years education at Level 2 certificate and Level 3 extended diploma to full occupational competence. In health and social care we teach level 2 and 3, from certificate to extended diploma. Many students progress to University to study professions like nursing, social work and primary education. We work with many local providers of care giving our students the best opportunities to relate theory and practice and gain specific skills and knowledge in the world of work.
