What skills and experience we're looking for

We are looking to recruit a suitably qualified Teacher who can support the delivery of one or more of the following subjects: Engineering / Design and Technology / Systems & Control (Electronics) and you will work alongside the staff team to further develop a centre of excellence focusing on Engineering & Manufacturing along with Health & Life Sciences. Under the direction of the Curriculum Director, you will support the delivery of a range of qualifications that suit your skill set. These include the Cambridge National Certificates in Engineering Manufacturing, Product Design and Engineering Programmable Systems at KS4, BTEC Level 3 in Engineering Diploma at Post-16 and T Level Engineering.

You will be a highly skilled practitioner who understands the challenges of educating 13–19-year-olds in an employer-led technology-rich environment. Effective partnership working is absolutely critical to the UTC’s success. We also welcome applications from newly qualified teachers who have the skills and attributes to develop their expertise within our unique environment.
