Teacher of English job summary

We wish to appoint an enthusiastic and ambitious Teacher of English to teach across KS3 to KS4 from September 2021. The post holder will be responsible for planning and delivering high quality lessons and achieving excellent results for their students, instilling in them a love for the subject and a desire to learn.

The successful candidate will have the ability to teach across all age and ability ranges. You will be an effective classroom teacher with the ability to raise the achievement of all students and be keen to play a full part in the life of the school.

Applications from NQTs are welcome as the school has a strong NQT training and support programme.

You will have the opportunity to work with a forward thinking school leadership team. We are committed to providing excellent CPD for teachers including the accredited National Award for Middle Leaders (NPQML). We provide a comprehensive and supportive induction programme for all new members of staff. You will also have access to a rich and varied CPD programme within the school and across the Federation.
