Teacher of English- 1 year fixed temporary job summary

The English Department is a thriving area of the school and one where students feel confident and able to succeed. The subject attracts good numbers at A Level and is a popular choice amongst the students- with some continuing their studies to degree level.

The English department work closely together and support one another, constantly reflecting on their own practice. We are forward thinking, creative, innovative and supportive of change and new approaches. We are looking for a teacher with a love of the subject, who is inspired by the opportunity to improve the experiences and outcomes for all students in their care and who wants to work readily with colleagues to continually create a curriculum in English which inspires and enables students to perform at their best.

The candidate will be required to undergo a full enhanced DBS check and must be eligible to work in the UK.
