What skills and experience we're looking for
The Governors are seeking to appoint a dynamic, creative, and suitably qualified teacher of English to join our highly successful school. This exciting opportunity will involve teaching English across KS3, KS4, and possibly KS5, within a supportive and thriving department.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about English and education, with a genuine desire to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential. As an innovative classroom practitioner, you will have high expectations for both yourself and your students, ensuring a stimulating learning environment where all pupils can flourish.
You will be joining a dedicated and supportive English team, who are committed to continually building on our already strong subject knowledge and fostering a collaborative, positive approach to teaching. We are focused on developing a curriculum that celebrates diversity and ensures all students, from different backgrounds, can engage with and succeed in English.
Our ideal candidate will bring a fresh perspective to our department and have the ability to tailor their approach to meet the varied needs of our students. If you are an enthusiastic, forward-thinking educator with a passion for fostering a love of literature and language, we would love to hear from you.
