Required for January or sooner if available. Stopsley High School is looking to recruit an enthusiastic, high quality teacher of English. The role would be suitable for an Early Careers Teacher (ECT)
The successful candidate will be joining an energetic, forward thinking and highly ambitious team.
They will demonstrate real enthusiasm for teaching English, underpinned by strong subject pedagogy and a willingness to work to make an already established department even stronger with a full programme of CPD and ECT support available.
Since joining the Middlesex Learning Trust in September 2021, Stopsley High School has undergone a significant period of transformation and improvement. The school has benefited from strong collaboration across the Trust, access to high-quality professional development, and opportunities to share and develop best practice with colleagues across partner schools.
Our most recent Ofsted inspection in June 2026 recognised the substantial progress made by the school. Inspectors highlighted the strength of our inclusive culture, personal development programme, pastoral care, safeguarding arrangements and leadership.
