What skills and experience we're looking for
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, ambitious and motivated teacher to join our vibrant English department. The post would suit a newly qualified or experienced Teacher of English.

What the school offers its staff
The English department is a large department of 12 teachers (including part time staff). The department also has 2 members of support staff attached to the department to help with a variety of intervention strategies including phonics, tutoring and targeted intervention.
As a MAT our scale allows both flexibility and creativity in terms of career development, with permanent and secondment opportunities across our academies allowing exciting career pathways. We are determined in our mission to improve the life chances of our students and we are equally committed to the wellbeing and development of our staff. There are around 50 English teachers in the Trust and there is a likelihood that opportunities could arise across the Trust which could be explored at the end of the contract if desired.
